Alexandra made our wedding rings from the gold of our parents rings. The service was amazing and it meant so much to have something so personal made for our special day. I can’t wait to commission more pieces in the future! Thank you!

I asked Alex to design an owl broach for my mother’s 80th birthday present. Throughout the process Alex communicated her ideas to make the perfect broach. All the family are very impressed and the beautiful broach continues to be complimented each time its worn. Thank you.

Amazing day with Alexandra! “Make a ring in a day” workshop was great fun and I love my stackable ring!
Alexandra helped with inspiration for ideas and was very patient.
Fun day from start to finish – would happily go again! Thankyou.
Our Story
About Us
Welcome to Frances Alexandra Jewellery. I am Alex, the owner, designer and maker. I have a jewellery workshop hidden away on the first floor of the beautiful grade II listed courtyard in Thoresby Park, Nottinghamshire.
I have a passion for making jewellery; I use fine craftsmanship and design skills, to create beautiful handmade bespoke jewellery in platinum, gold and silver.
After completing my university degree at Manchester School of Art in 2012, I went on to further develop my skills on a post graduate training programme at Bishopsland Educational Trust. This gave me a pathway into working for small independent jewellers where I could get hands-on experience.
I set up Frances Alexandra Jewellery in 2017. I have a small collection of my own handmade jewellery pieces which I have on display in my workshop, and one of my main passions is creating one-off bespoke pieces designed around my client.
Over the years my workshop has evolved, and I take great pride in the range of jewellery making workshops that I have developed so I can share my passion for jewellery with you. I offer a mix of full day classes and 3 hour workshops including ring, bangle, earring and pendant making.
I am in the workshop most days – if you would like to come and chat to me about a possible commission, a repair or to get information on any of the jewellery workshops I run, I kindly ask that you make an appointment so I can ensure I am available to see you. If you are visiting the park, please ring my doorbell which can be found downstairs by the blue door on the left past the visitors centre, and if I am available you are welcome to come up to the workshop.
